This is a special edition of our newsletter where I will share details about a new refractive procedure that we are offering at Akler Eye Center, the EVO ICL.
EVO ICL is an advanced vision correction procedure that provides clear, sharp vision by implanting a soft, biocompatible lens inside the eye — without removing any corneal tissue. It’s designed to correct moderate to high nearsightedness (myopia), with or without astigmatism.
The ideal candidate for EVO ICL is between 21 and 45 years old with moderate to high nearsightedness (myopia) with or without astigmatism and has healthy eyes. Additionally, patients who have been told they are not candidates for LASIK due to thin corneas or severe dry eye are often excellent candidates for EVO ICL. The procedure itself is painless with a fast recovery of vision and little to no downtime.
